Ex-King Mwanga is imprisoned by Arabs, who threaten to exterminate all missions m Central Africa m revenge for the antislave policy oi the English. English missionaries m Uganda are at present safe. January 13. Twelve gigs, intended for use by Lieutenant Wissman's expedition for the relief of Emm Bey, have been shipped from Germany to Zanzibar. London, Jannary 12 Information has been received that Christian natives at Uganda have murdered one of the teachers connected with the mission and expelled Knapp, who was appointed German Consul after approval of his conduct m Samoa,
