The Press agrees that the principle thus laid down is the death blow to the system of huge Trusts lately initiated. A terrific fight took place at San Francisco, between Mulholland, the champion lightweight of Australia, and Mahon, a local lightweight, for the championship of the Pacific. Eightynine'desperate rounds were contested, after which the referee declared it a draw. Both men received severe punishment.
