The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, hay( received the following cable message from their London office, dated Btt January; — "Frozen mutton : Themarkel is steadier. Wellington and Canterbury are worth resprctively 3|d and 3|d pel lb. There is little demand for New Zea land beef, and quotations are un changed."
