About seventeen finishers with' drew to-day from Messrs R. Hannah and Co.'s factory m consequence of a difference of opinion with the principal of the firm, as to the construction of the statement of agreement arrived at m settlement of the strike which occurred Bomo twenty moDths ago. The benohmen are still at work, bat are this afternoon preparing to leave as soon as they finlih jobs m hand. The men assert that on the agreement of 1887 Mr Hannah promtied to reduce the number of apprentice* to the proportion of one to four benchmen, whereas since the new year lie has taken on several boy», and there are now m the establishment thirteen boys to twenty' teven journeymen. • : :
