A FREETRADE DECLARATION.
The Directors of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce have carried a resolution to the effect that the resolutions passed at the meeting on December 19th, declaring that all imported goods similar to goods that can be produced and sold m the United Kingdom ought to pay their proportion of local and Imperial taxation, does not represent the voice of the Chamber, and tha Chamber expresses its entire adherence to freetrade principles.
