Balfour, Secretary for Ireland, is m imminent danger from Invincibles, who are en deavoring to compass his assassination. He is carefully guarded by detectives. Mr Balfour has intimated to the Irish priests that m future the military will thoroughly protect the police when the latter are enforcing evictions. He add 3 that no parleying will ensue after those resisting eviction have been warned and called upon to vacate their homesteads.
