The ordinary monthly meeting of tha) Tinwald Toirn Board was held Od Friday, Present— Messrs J. Olark (Chairman), M. Soo-t, B. Ede, 0. Jephson *ud, T. Williams. Correspondence was re«d from the Asbburton County Oooncll, asking the Board to take oontrol of gravel reserve near the ealeyards. The Clerk was iustraoted to reply that the Board desired to know what conditions are attached to taking over the reserve. — From the Under Secretary for Pnb'io Worki forwarding copy of proposed amendments to the Public Works lot.— > From the And I tor-General requesting the payment off-1 13a 4d for auditing the Board* accounts for the year ending 31ft March. 1888.
