SERIOUS FIRES
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Sydney, December 26. A great firo occurred at GrQnfell last night, when thirty business premises, including seven hotels, newspaper offices, and Bank of New fcouth Wales, were destroyed, The damage is estimated at £13,000, the insurance amounting to £9000. Melbourne, December 26 The Alfred Hospital at St Kilda was partially destroyed by fire last nigbt. The patients were removed from the building with safety.
