A messenger who has arrived with a message from Tippo Tib reports that ' Stanley arrived at Bonyala, on the' Aruwimi river, on August/i7th, having " left Emm Bey on the 2.7 th July . W perfect health, and with a god supply • of provisions. It was Stanley's intention to start with his rearguard and loads to rejoin Emm Bey at the end of August.
