RABBIT COMMISSION'S REPORT.
PASTEUR'S SYSTEM CONDEMNED. f>BB FftlSS ASSOCIATION.] Syikbt, December 21* The .Rtbbit Commissioners have adopted their report for presentation to Parliament. The report deals extensively with various experiments, and 10 far as the experiments have gone they tend to prove that M. Pasteur's roraedy is totally inefficacious under conditions prevailing m the interior of the continent. The microbe loses its virtue after a few hours' exposure to warm leather, or when subjected to the drying effect of the wind. The Com«ninioners report that the enquiries at Tirinnallagy are of no scientific value whatever. The disease, sa?cofes cuniculi, discovered by Professor Watson, is also dealt with. With regard to bladder worm, it is said that it cleared the Wairarapa district of rabbits, and the Commissioners recommend that further investigation be made into this disease.
