INDS WESLEYAN CHURCH.

The anniversary tea meeting m connection with the Hinds Wesleyan Ohuroh was held m the public school. The following ladies provided and presided at the tables:— Mesdames Paget, Norrish, MoDowell, Bowles, and the Misses Kitohingman. At the bachelors' table the Misses Norrish and Paget presided. A most bountiful spread was provided, whioh did credit to the ladies. After tea was over, and the room prepared, the public meeting was commenced. The Bay J. N. Buttle presided, and stated the objeot of the meeting. Mr Bowles read a most enoouraging report of the work and finanoßs of the Ohuroh. Exoellent and telling addresses followed by the Rev Bootbroyd, Messrs J. W. Sawle and S. Chapman. During the evening selections of music were rendered by the ohoir m a creditable style, and seemed to be thoroughly enjoyed by the audience, who were frequent m their applause. After the usual votes of thanka to the ladiea and other friends who had assisted to make the anniversary tea meeting a suooess, the proceedings were brought to a close by singing the Dojcology and the Chairman pronouncing the Benediotion. After the meeting a donation was given by a gentleman who was present for the purchase of an organ for the use of the Ohuroht
