(Psr PnKBB Association.; London, Deoember 19. In the course of a speech m the Commons on Samoan affairs, Sir Jas. Fergusson deprecated the jealousy being displayed on the part of England to Germany. The German Press, m referring to the remarks of Sir James, warmly appreciates his sympathy with German interests m Samoa. In the House of Commons Mr McArthur strongly condemned the Government administration of affairs m Samoa. In reply, Sir James Fergusson regretted the tone of the discussion, as the Washington Conference on the question had not yet concluded its business.
