London, Deoember 19. At the general meeting of the New Zealand Shipping Company to-day Sir John Gorst, the Chairman, m moving the adoption of the report and balancesheet regretted that no dividend was declared this year. The Directors, however, believed that the recent change m the management and the rise m freights would place the Company m a prosperous position. The report was adopted and the retiring directors re-elected.
