... (PER PKEB3 ASSOCIATION.) Sydney, December 17. Rain has fallen m the southern districts but it is fine elsewhere. In Queensland, Victoria and South Australia the weather is generally fine. At Bulli yesterday a man named Mulholland was killed by lightning. The storm was experienced generally all over ths colony and was of unusual severity. ADELAIDE, December 17. The Government valuator who has recently traversed the whole colony reports that the country is m a terrible condition and that the season is the worst experienced for the pasr 35 years. In many districts the rabbits have been completely exterminated for want of water. Kangaroos, he states, are remarkably scarce from the same cause. Carcases of sheep are lying m hundreds around water holes.
