COLONIAL SECURITIES.
Lord Knutsjord, Secretary of State for the Colonies,- and Mr Goschen, Chancellor of the Exchequer, have been interviewed by the Agents-General of the colonies With regard to the Liabilities of TrusfeeV Bill, which has been abandoned., this session. The Agents asked that the measure might be postponed m order to give them time to consult their respective Governments m connection with re-instating the clause empowering trustees to in* vest funds m Colonial Inscribed Stock. Mr Goschen said he could not pledge the Government to introduce the Bill again.
