RULES AND REGULATIONS.
1. The meeting will be held under the rules f f racing. 2. No entry will be received except on the onditions that all claims, disputes, and objecons, arising out of the racintj, shall be decided y the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, 'heir decision on all points connee'ed with the arrying out of this programme, to be final. 3. The raceß are open to any horse, qorajonly resident iathe district from the Ist )ctober, 1888, to the date of meeting, and wned by a person who has resided m the istrict for the same period. 4. The district above mentioned is bounded c n the north by the Selwyn River, and on the j juth by the Opihi River: t 5. Five per cent, will be deducted from the ■. ross of all moneys payable m accordance with lis programme, for the expenses of the course, 6. All nomination and acceptance fees to > the funds of the Club, 7. Trotting Race. — Horses must trot to the itisfaction of a Referee. t
