RULES AND REGULATIONS.
1. The meeting will be held under the rules of racing. 2. No entry will be received except on the conditions that all claims, disputes, and objections, arising out of the racing, shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint TTieir decision on all points connected with the carrying out of this programme, to be final. 3. The races are open to any horse, commonly resident m the district from the Ist October, 1888, to the date of meeting, and owned by a person who has resided m the district for the same period. 4. The district above mentioned m bounded on the north by the Selwyn River, and on the south by the Opihi River. 5. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross of all moneys payable m accordance with this programme, for t^e expenses of the course. 6. All nomination and acce fance fees to to the funds of the Club, 7. Trotting Race. — Horses must trot to the satisfaction of a Referee.
