At the Police Court to-day Rudolph Badks wss ohsrged with having eieaped from gaol- He pleaded guilty, but said the cell door was left open or he could OOt have got oat. 8.% also stated that ball bad been refused him and he dsolded to reteln his liberty till the time of bis trial. Mr MoOullough R.M. sentenced him to four months bard labor. Prisoner will be brought op at the Supreme Court, charged with arson this afUtnoon.
