EMPLOYERS' LIABILITY.
In the House of Commons Mr H. Broadhurst, member for Nottingham, made a lengthy speech on the Employers' Liability Bill, as introduced by the Government. In concluding he characterised the measure as a sham, and moved that it be rejected. The Government took a division on the question, when Mr Broadhurst's motion was negatived by six to one.
