December 4 [ Before " The Times "-I'arnell CowI mission to-day, a Land Longuer ot the \ Castle Island (Kerry) branch deposed ,' that he joined the Inner Circle to become a soldier, and partook m several outrages against those who paid their rents. He was paid by the local secretary for his services. The Inner Circle compelled farmers to vote for the I Lengue candidates. The same witness deposed that tho Fumlay before the bailiff Culloty was killed, Father Callaghan, a member of tho Meiber Committee, remarked that Culloty was ugly enough now, but he would soon be uglier. (R*C"!ved Dcoamber 6. 10 a m j 1 ONDON, December 4 The witness who gave evidence to-day before the commissioners deposed that Parnell participated m some of the outrages against people who paid rent, and that Timothy Harrington the Secretary of the League ordered the leaguers not to kill their victims or hurt them too much. The witness was paid £7 fcr his services. The captains of circles received orders from the committees of the branches of the League. Harrington refused money to one branch of the League because it was inactive.
