IRISH AFFAIRS.
In the House of Commons during a discussion 00 the Irish estimates, Mr Gladstone violently attacked Mr Balfour's Irish administration, and charged him with being responsible for the Mitchelstown affair and the death of John Mandeville and Kinsella. Mr Balfour replied to the charges m detail, and declared that the extraordinary weakness of the Opposition was shown m this constant re-cooking of exploded complainrß against his administration and m the absurd charges levelled at him.
