London, November 29. Henry George, 1 the, land reformer, has been addressing crowded meetings m. various parts ot the Kingdom, and was received with great enthusiasm m London. At a meeting last night he said he was astonished at the growth of land nationalisation m England. Referring to Irish affairs, George said that the attempt of the ' Tories to compensate Irish landlords showed that they realised the necessity of dealing with the problem. He approved of taxing the landlords out of Ireland rather than kicking them out.
