ALLEGED BREACH OF PRIVILEGE.
Mr David Sheehy, M.P. for Galway « South, whom Government intend prosecuting on a charge of intimidatioo, complained m the House of Commons to-day that a constable had served him with a summons within the precincts of the House. The Opposition, Parnellites, and some members of the Conservative party, expressed indignation at the action of the police authorities- Mr W. H. Smith explained that Government were ignorant of the affair, and he moved the appointment of a Committee to inquire into the circumstances forthwith, which was agreed to.
