None of the English troops will take { part m the sortie. The rebels are mustering m great force, and m Suakim the position is regarded as most critical London, November 24. Maj or-General Dormer considers that the strength of the Egyptian army should be raised to 16,000. They could then relieve Suakim, capture Handoub, Tamas and Toka, advance on Dongola, and pacify the Soudan.
