Wellington, November 22 - When the Agnews were placed \n the ' dock to-day, charged with ioßultlng the Premier, the man broke oat into a fearful torrent of abQße both of S'r H. Atkinson and the.oaagiatrate (Me Robinson), calling them Internal rogaeo and ewlndlerß. It was Imposaible to go on with the case, and a constable was . ordered to remove them Mrs Agnew defended her huaband violently pushing him into the corner of the dock, and swearing loudly. . While she kept the poHoetnan at bar, Agnew continued his lmpreoations, and it wai not for. some time that her Htraggles were overcome, and the pair were borne awayby main force, shouting to the laot. Court tnis morning with using insulting ond provocative language to the Premier on 21st iast. Both denied the charge, stating that they had merely asked for justice. Sir H. Atkinßon gave evidence m support of the charge They bid made a mad, violent denunciation of himself and Sir R, Stouf, who were declared by the aoomed to be m league to rob them of their land;> aod who were characterised as swindlers and robbers.- Eaoh ol the accused was ordered to. find sureties to keep the peace . for six months one of £60 and two of £25. They were rempred protesting that they would not find sureties. !
