Mollwraith's objections to Blake are expressed m rough, ill-considered language, which is, perhaps, due to the self-asserting tone common m young communities. It would be impossible to admit his claim to haye the name of the new Governor submitted without abandoning the rights now belonging to the Crown. The submission of the name to the colony really means the appointment of Governor by party majority. It is Lord Knutsford's duty to appoint the best man possible. McIlwraith's action. *• Mr Pritchard Morgan, the nerr mem • ber for Merthyr Tydvil, has requested the Government to fix a special day for discussing the Queensland Governorship m the House of Commons.
