SECRET SERVICE MONEY.
In the House of Commons last night a discussion was taken as to the disposal of the secret service money. The Irish members strongly opposed the' grant, asserting tnat a portion of the sura had been used by the Government to subsidise "The Times'" case against Parnell. Mr W. H. Smith, replying to this accusation, gave a positive denial that any money had been improperly used by the Government,, and he outlined m detail the expendi-, ture without disclosing the particular paymenrs made to individuals. -
