The American visible wheat supply is 34,375,000 bushels. The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom-is 2,48*8,000 quarters, and for the Continent 596,000 quarters. Money is firmer owing to the anticipated large demands of the Stock Exchange settlement. The Australian and New Zealand Mortgage Company's Four and a-halt Per Cents! are 99 ; Dalgetty, Four and a-half Per Cents, 111 ; New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company's Four Per Cents (perpetual), 99. An off coast Australian cargo of wheat has been sold at from 42s to 42s 6d. Flonr, 30s 6d to 31s. Leather dam at from 9£d to lOd. Sydney, November 18. Potatoes, New Zealand, £6 ; Ballarats, £7 10s ; new locally grown, £9; new onions, £10 to £10 10s ; wheat, milling, New Zealand, ss; locally grown, 5s 2d ; oats, 2s 9d to 3s ; hay, £7 to £9 ; butter, imported, Is ; local, Is 2d to Is 3d ; cheese, imported, 9^d to lOd; local, 8d to lOd. Private sales are reported at 5s lid, with market rising, Adelaide, November 14. Wheat is firm at 4s lid to 5s for shipping parcels ; farmers' lots, 4s lOd at Port Adelaide, 4s 8d at outports ; stone flour £10 10s, roller £11 5s to £11 10s ; New Zealand oats, 3s Bd. Brisbane, November 15. There is considerable excitement m the market owing to shortness of sup plies of chaff, which is almost unobtainable. Looally grown medium lucerne hay is etgerly bought at £7 15s ; oats, 4s 4d.
