Mr D. Thorn is (:ato of Matson, Cox, and Co) reporta upon the live stock market for the Aehburtcn District for tho week ending November 13th as follows:— On Tuesday at the Aehburton Yards I held my usual weekly sa'e of sheep, cattle, *nd pigs. There was a total entry of 4707 sheep, 26 head cattle, and 11 pige. The attenda r :fte was not so large as might have been expected, and the bidding wai anything but brisk throughout the sale, and Haveral liaeß of sheep were paesed. The following were the prides realised : -For fat oros:-bred shorn, 11s 3d ; do m the wool, 13s ; store c.ossbred hoggets, 12a ; m9iino wetherß, 6a lOd ; crossbred ewes and limb.", 12i to 13s 8d ; merino eweß and lamba, 9a to 9j 6d ; f *t lamts, 7a 6d, In catile : Pat cows, £4 10s. In pigs : Sows and pigs, £2 la to £3 2s 6d : stores, 19a6dt0£149 6d,
