London, Norember 13. In the Honse of Commons to day Baron de Worms, replying to the Right Hon H. 0. Childers, said Government had decided to ask Sir Thomas M'Hraitf) to state his objections to the appointment of Kir H. A. Blake to the Governorship of Queensland. The " Daily Telegraph," m the course of an article on the Queensland Governorship, says Lord Knutsford should have consulted the Government of Queensland informally on the question of the appointment of Governor. The " Times" says Sir a. A. Blake has proved himself a remarkably able administrator, and that he possesses excellent social qualities. The " Times " doubts whether there is any ground for the complaint, and says that the appointment was influenced by the desire to yield to the wishes of his Irish friends. : It is reported that Sir Henry Edward Bulwer, High Commissioner of Cyprus, may be appointed to the Governorship, of Queensland, instead of Sir H. A. Blake. (Reoelved November 14, noon.) London, November 12. It is thought probable Sir J. Pope Hennessy, Governor of Mauritius, and Sir H. Blake, will exchange.
