FIGHTING AT SUAKIM
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Suakim. November 11. A surveying party sent out to ascertain Osman Digna's strength was attacked by Arab cavalry and forced to ! retreat to Suakim. The party, however, learned that the Arab trenches were too strong to be dislodged by the present garrison here. After the attack on the Mahdi's followers m the Wadai district, the Sultan of Wadai fled to Mount Ghari.
