VICTORIA.
Melbourne, November 12. A cable message received here to day states that Colonel Sir H. Redvers Buller upon approaching Woolwich station, on Bth inst., alighted on the wrong side of the carriage platform and ! was knocked down by a passing train and killed. Mrs Dawson, residing m Dawson street, murdered her two children today by cutting their throats. She then committed suicide by cutting her own ] throat* A body of shearers severely assaulted the proprietor and overseer of the Koroit Station, and forcibly carried off nine non-unionist shearers on the place.
