(P3R PBESS ASSOCIA72ON.) London, November 9* The " Pall Mall Gazette " states that the objection of the Queensland people to the appointment of Sir H. A, Blake as Governor has caused ungrateful persons to promoto a separation morement fond. In the House of Commons the question of Hr H. A. Blake's appointment to the Governorship of Queensland was brought up by the Bight Hon H, 0. K. Childers and Mr Henniker Heaton, Baron de Worms, replying to those gentlemen, said he was confident that the House, and also the press, would support the appointment made bj the Colonial Office, despite the objection raised bj Sir Thos. Mcllwraith, the Premier of Queensland. On the motion of Mr W. A. Macarthur, member for f-t Austell, further discussion on the question was postponed until Monday. London, November 10. The "Standard" referring to Bir H. A. Blake's appointment to Queensland, says that the Colonial Office has exhibited a want of taot, which it has frequently manifeuted m dealing with yonng, spirited, and highly sensitive colonies.
