THE PARNELLITE COMMISSION.

London, November 8. At the sitting of the Commission, Sir Charles Russell, counsel for defence, contended that the " Times " was bound to show that tho Parnellites were connected with the outrages before tho matter could be admitted as evidence. Sir James Hannen's ruling practically amounted to an admission that tho " Times " was not limited as to tho scope | of tho evidence on this point, and could tender records of crime m Ireland as evidence . It is felt that this latitude is likely to prolong the enquiry. London, November 9. The " Times " has intimated to tho Commission that it will not conclude its caso this year.
