THE BOARD OF WORKS SCANDAL.
London, November 7,
The Select Committee of the House of Commons appointed to inquire into the alleged irregularities ia the Metropolitan Board of Works, censure Messrs J. G. Saunders (City of London) and F. H. Fowler (Lambeth), and exonerate the other members of the Board. The report adds that the laxity displayed m the management permitted misconduct to be carried on.
