AFRICAN SLAVERY.
Parliament resumed its sittings today. In the House of Lords the Marquis of Salisbury, replying to a question asked by the Earl of Harrowby, said that Germany had asked England to co-operate with her m naval action to prevent the importation of arms and ammunition into Zanzibar, and also to prevent the ex port of slaves. Lord Salisbury thought it would be best to assist m blockading the coast, and Prance might concede the right to search ships of all flags, and ate o send a man of-war to cooperate with Germany and England.
