Napier, November 6 The K.M. gave judgment to-day In the ease of Councillor Filzroy v Hastings Borough Council, m whlob plaintiff sought to recover tba saga of eight guineas to the Borough funds, being the coat of the portrait of ex-Mayor Well wood, paid by the Council end disallowed by the A odl torGeneral. The defendant Corporation claimed that the portrait was Council Chamber furniture. The Magistrate gave judgment for plaintiff with costs.
