HEAT IN AUSTRALIA.
Sydney, November 6 Exctssive heat was experienced throughout the colony yesterday. At Gulgong, m the Mudgee district, the crops have been abandoned, and at Wilcannia the heat and drought are so severe that travelling has been rendered impossible.
