Auckland, November 6. 4bout one o'clock this morning a six roomed house m Wallace street, Ponsonby, owned and occupied by Patrick Lysaght, was destroyed by fire; The furniture was not Insured and was nearly all burned. The hon«9 was insured for £250 m the Royal It is believed the fire originated In the wash house under the dwelling. QA firs took p'aoo this morning m Forbes bakery, North Shore. Particulars are not yet to hand. The North Shore fire was In a two storey concrete building The ground floor was oocupled aa a bake house, and the upper flit us a store room. The building wai completely gutted, and the stocfc of floor, eto., destroy ad. R. and B. Duder, the owners of the building had no Insurance, bat Ford's stock was insured for £80 In the Royal.
