There wa> a miscellaneous oolleotlon under this head, Mr F. Fenlmin showed lome of Sleslnger's horse and cattle medicines, and also some of Ford's mixtare for loonr and laogworm m sheep. Mr J. Dalglefsb, a gentleman who has establfsbed himself m Ashbarton within the last few weeks showed an assortment of hosiery^manufactured by himself, and of excellent maks and quality. Mr G. Jameson showed Little's sheep dip, and a oolleotlon of manures. Mr 0, M. Brooke ■bowed some of his sheep dip, and Messrs Jepbson and Moore some of the flax 6bre prepared at their mills at Tlnwald. Mesirs Frledlander Bros, showed some of Flsons' fertilisers. Mr Joseph Price of Mount Somers had a quantity of basket ware on the ground, manufactured from locally grown material. The baskets ref acted great credit on the m?ker. and during the day they attracted a good deal of attention. Messrs J. Qaane and On. bad some wood ware, worked by J. Oarmlchael, on view. The Singer Sowing Machine Company showed one of their machines, and Mr John Robertson a ■planing wheel, Mr Charles Brad-del showed the Reginald cinder sifter and fuel economise for grates and «toves, a little oentrirsnod which prevents any waste of fnsl.
