Sydney, November 1. The Bank of New South Wales has declared a dividend of 15 per cent with a bonus ofs2}£. The first instalment of Sir M. Mackenzie's book, describing the illness of the Emperor Frederick, appears m the " Sydney Morning Herald " on , Saturday. The sentence on Harris, convicted lof infanticide, has heen commuted to six months imprisonment. It appears he killed the child to save the life of the mother, who was confined In the bush where no medical assistance was available.
