THE PHONOGRAPH.

A phonograph has been specially constructed for the purpose of recording Mr Gladstone's speech at the Liberal Home Rule demonstration which it is proposed to hold at Birmingham on November 7 th. The speech will afterwards, by means of this instrument be re-enunciated m London and various cities m America. Great interest is being taken m the experiment.
