London, October 29 and 30. Mr Wra. O'Brien, M.P., has induced* Lord Kenoaare's tenants to adopt the Plan of Campaign. An order has been made by the t( Timcß"-Parnell Commissioa for the production by Banks of books belonging to the Land and National Leagues. Mr Jeremiah D. Sheehan, member for East Kerry, has been arrested on a charge of inciting tenants at Killamey to join the Plan of Campaign. Mr J. J. O' Kelly, member for Koscommon North, who was sentenced to four months' imprisonment for inciting a witness to refuie to give evidence under the Crimes Act, appealed against the verdict to-day. The case vraa argued m the High Courts, Bis Honor, m reducing the sentence from four to two months, expressed sympathy with Mr O'Kelly, but said the law, however objectionable, must be respected. He believed that language similar, to thafe used by O'Kelly would be passed unnoticed if used m England, and hia Honor agreed vrith the prisoner that if ■ach an 4,qt a.s the Crimes Act were brought into operation m England it would be regarded with suspioion. >:■
