(pee press association.) London, October 25. Australian mutton is quoted at 4j^d, New Zealand mutton 4)^d to sd. At the Antwerp sales wool advanced a halfpenny. Nine thousand bales were offered, thirteen hundred of which were Australian. LoNroy, Cotob-T 27. The English wheat market shows a change, and prices are a litlle better. The Continental market is firm, and the American market tending upwards. Australian wheat ex warehouse, 42s 6d. For cargoes of new crop sellers are asking 425. New Zealand longberried has declined 6d, and is now quoted at 42? 6d. Australian flour ex •tore, aßs 6d ; New Zealand flour ex •tore, 275. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cable message . from their London office, dated October 26th:— Tallow— Matket irregular. The demand is partly speculative and partly consumptive. Good mutton and beef tallows are worth 303 6d and 393 3d "per cwl respectively. Fiozen Meat — Market depressed. The market is glutted with supplies of American beef. Canterbury and Wellington mutton are worth 4^d and 4f6d respectively. Hemp—Medium New Zealand hemp is worth per ton.
