The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cable message . from their London office, dated October 26th:— Tallow— Matket irregular. The demand is partly speculative and partly consumptive. Good mutton and beef tallows are worth 303 6d and 393 3d "per cwl respectively. Fiozen Meat — Market depressed. The market is glutted with supplies of American beef. Canterbury and Wellington mutton are worth 4^d and 4f6d respectively. Hemp—Medium New Zealand hemp is worth per ton.
