Sydkby, October 30. Rain has fallen at Kiama, Woollongong, Berry, Braidswood, and Camden. Most disastrous bush fires are raging m Roorooma, Culgoa, and Dubbo districts, also at Picton and Grcnfell. The outlook is very gloomy. Mr Quong Tart, a well-known Chinese merchant here, will visit China immediately m response to a semiofficial request from Pekin. Probably the summons is m connection with the Chinese difficulty with Australia, and the questiqn is sure to be fully discussed.
