THE AKOZAI AFFAIR.
Calcutta., Ootober 27Information has been received that the Akozais have submitted to Briga-dier-General McQueen, but the operations of the British force against other branches of the tribes will be continued. Lieut. -Co!. Cruickshank, of the Bengal Staff Corps, who was wounded m an engagement with the Akozais, on the 17th instant, has since succumbed to his wounds. Brigadier-Genewl McQueen's column occupied Taund without opposition.
