THE PARNELLITE COMMISSION.

The charges presented by "Ths Times " to the Parnell Commissioners, allege that various organisations In Ireland including the Land League and the National Federation League had been brought into existence with the object of establishing Irish independence, that the members of these bodies had conspired to promote agrarian agitation, and induce the tenants to withhold payment of rents They were also guilty of intimidating people by meaqs of boycotting, which had resulted m numerous outrages being committed. The funds which had been collected by the Leagues were disbursed m inducing persons to commit crime, to hinder the detection of criminals, and m defending prisoners when upon their trial. Mr Parnell is accused that while pretending to con r demn crime he wrote a letter to Byrne, Bgan, aod Ford, approving of the outrages m connection with which they , were believed to be associated. Sixtyfive members of the Parnellite party are implicated m the charges.
