London. Oc'ober 9. The proposal for farthing bidding at the wool auctions has been adopted by the London wool brokers, and the innovation will commence at the November series.

At a meeting of woolbuyers a resolution was passed that farthiog bids at the wool, auctions would not be a benefit to ethrr wool importers or purchasers, as the change would involve an unbearable extra labor, confusion, and loss.
