Gerard, and the Ashburton Oounty Oounoil re Blaok Mountain track— Resolved that the Board contribute a sum equivalent to half the ratufl payed by Mr Gjrard to the B >ard towards the repairs on the track — (5) From the Oounty Oouucil asking tne Board to contribute half thu cost of tho works required at Chapman's oreek and the bridge near (.the slaughterhouse. Mr Gaul aßked permission to remove silt off the road for the purposs of making up the embankment to the flume across the e tor it water gully on his property — Granted. ■/ Mr Baker was granted permission to take a water race aorosi the West Ooaat road.

It was resolved to enlarge the storm water crossing near Mr A Thompson's. Acoounts to the amount of £42 16j 51 were passed for pay mens.
