THE CABLE INTERRUPTION.
Adelaide, October 12. Information has been received from Port Darwin to. the effect that the Sherard Osborne, the cable repairing steamer, did not break the new cable whilst grappling, as was at first supposed! The steamer was not working at the time the cable parted. The ends of the old cable have been buoyed.
